Farmer’s Registration and Unified Beneficiary Information System P.M. Kisan (FRUITS)

FRUITS (P.M. Kisan) (Farmers’ Registration and Unified Beneficiary Information System) is an e-Governance initiative to have common database facilities for Registration of farmers and to facilitate updating assistance and given by various departments for the benefit towards farmers and non-farmers. “FRUITS” is aimed at bringing departments like Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Sciences, Fisheries, Backward Classes, and Social welfare organizations under a single platform.

FRUITS helps in Registering Farmers and non-farmers and provides a unique ID. Besides, it facilitates to register beneficiaries as and when they want to avail benefits from the Government if not registered earlier. This Registration is once in a lifetime activity, as a result, the beneficiary needs not to carry his/her documents to the next department and for every scheme. Benefits given to a person can be tracked using Registration ID which is mandatory for all the departments to capture before providing benefits. This would not only stop multiple benefits reaching the same beneficiary but also helps in inclusive growth.

FRUITS is integrated with state DBT portal and through DBT portal is also integrated with Khajane II (K2)
